In the beginning of Trolley episode 10, Hye-Joo wakes up in the middle of the night to find that Joong-do is not in bed. As she gets out of bed, she checks her phone and is disappointed to see that Soo-bin hasn’t answered her text yet.
After last night’s heated conversation, Joong-do talks to Gwi-soon first thing in the morning to clear the air. She seems to have calmed down a bit, and she even asks Joong-do to use her as much as possible in his political campaigns. Woo-Jae seems to have done his homework because he talked to her before this conversation to help her understand.
In exchange, Gwi-soon asks him to change the law, and Joong-do says he will. But it turns out that even though people are criticizing Seung-kyu, the news about Namgoong Sol’s sex work is more important. In any case, they can’t use this case to try to change the law. Instead, they need to find a similar case. Woo-Jae looks at Joong-do and says that they might not have to look too far to find what they want.
Soon-hong goes to the office to meet Joong-do, and Hye-Joo saves Yeo-jin from her ex-husband, who shows up at the columbarium without warning. In another part of the story, Seung-hee meets Seung-family kyu and clears up the confusion about her role in leaking information about Sol and Seung-meeting. kyu’s Outside the restaurant, she insists once more on going in and accusing Hye-Joo of being a murderer in front of every one since they are all hurting because of her lie. Ki-young, who is angry, wants to leave everything and go to Australia with Seung-hee, but Seung-hee wants to talk more about her mother’s verbal abuse.
Hye-Joo is at work when Soo-bin calls her out of the blue. She goes to a cafe to meet a friend of Soo- bin. He tells Hye-Joo lies and says that he is Ji-friend. hoon’s He does this to get her to tell him something. In the end, he finds out that Soo-bin was carrying Ji-child, hoon’s and he is able to plant doubt in Hye-mind.
Woo-Jae tells Joong-do that Soo-bin will come back at some point to blackmail him with her pregnancy, and he asks if she has anything else to use against him. There doesn’t seem to be anything else, and Woo-Jae tells him that they can still use the pregnancy news to their advantage even if it gets posted online.
Ki-young’s Proof, Joong-do’s Shocking Idea, Hye-joo’s Confession, and Yeo-jin’s Advice
Ki-young calls Joong-do in the middle of this conversation to give him proof that his mother-in-law and Soon-hong were involved in the land speculation case. Joong-do is shocked by the call, and he goes to Soon-hong with an even more shocking idea. Soo-bin calls the pimp and tells him to give her back the money so she can get her phone.
That night, Hye-Joo tells Joong-do about this mysterious friend of Ji-that hoon’s she met, and he immediately tells her not to meet him again. He talks about how he feels about the drugs that were found on Ji-hoon and says that they could be Soo-bin’s. In the end, he admits that she grew to like Soo-bin, but he tells her to stay away from her for the sake of the family.
Hye-Joo tells Joong-do that no one was to blame for Ji-death hoon when he blames Soo-bin for Ji-death. hoon’s Joong-do agrees with her, but because he is Ji-dad, hoon’s he can’t see it any other way. Hye-Joo has no choice but to ask him not to tell Soo-bin about the text she didn’t send so that she doesn’t have to live with guilt as she does.
But the talk isn’t over yet. He tells Hye-Joo that Soon-hong found out about her past, and he suggests that the incident be made public first. Hye-Joo tries to fight it, and even though Joong-reasons do’s are reasonable, she can’t just give up. He tells her in the end that he won’t do anything without her permission.
