CRTC officials will hold a virtual technical briefing to discuss the CRTC’s ongoing work to implement the Online Streaming Act. The briefing will discuss how to support a broadcasting system that is sustainable, fair and competitive environment for small, medium and large broadcasters, television service providers and online streaming services.

Notes:

Media representatives who wish to attend must register with CRTC by emailing media@crtc.gc.ca to obtain the Microsoft Teams link and the teleconference line before 12:00 p.m. ET on January 9, 2025.
Media who join via teleconference will have an opportunity to ask questions.
