Josh Hall has opened up about his divorce from HGTV star Christina Hall, signaling that it was not his decision to end their marriage. Two weeks after the couple filed for divorce, Josh, 43, took to Instagram on August 2 to share his perspective.
“I prefer privacy, especially during something as life changing as a divorce I did not ask for,” he wrote. “I will not publicly badmouth anyone as people have families, friends, and others who respect and love them. Unfortunately, the internet is forever.”
Josh emphasized that they are “real humans” going through a challenging time and stated, “I am not here to entertain people I don’t know with my private matters. Those details will be handled fairly behind closed doors with our respective counsels in due time. Those who know each of us, know who we are.”
Accompanying his post was a selfie with his dog Stella, who was diagnosed with cancer in 2022. In a previous Instagram post from September, Josh had mentioned, “Stella has been my rock through a lot of life, moves and changes. Stella had never been around kids much before, but she immediately fit in and is obsessed with everyone in this house.”
Despite the personal upheaval, Josh remains committed to handling the situation with dignity and respect, away from the public eye
