Ghost Doctor Episode 2 Highlights
Young-Min’s Life-Threatening Incident and Strange Encounter with a Coma Ghost
On the way, he gets a call from Seon-Ho, who confirms that the patient is showing the same symptoms. On the road, a strange motorcycle delivery driver watches him at an intersection and follows him on purpose as he speeds through Korea’s streets. The biker turns into him, which makes Young-Min swerve and hit a white truck. Yes, it’s the white truck of doom again.
All of these things bring us up to date on what happened to Young-Min and why he was hit on the road.

After this quick review, we go back to surgery, where Seung-Tak saves his own life, even though Young-Min has taken over his body. By doing this, Young-soul Min briefly returns to his body, but when the blood pressure drops again, he spits back out.
Young-Min isn’t strong enough to own. Seung-Tak once more, but a tear in the left ventricle calls in Dr. Ahn and the other surgeons to fix the tear.
Even though the surgery went well, they all have to wait until Young-Min wakes up. His blood pressure has been low for a long time, which is very worrying. The turn-around time is expected to be between 5 and 6 hours, so for now, everyone has to wait and hope that Young-Min gets better.
While Young-Min is waiting, he makes a lot of noise in the ICU, which makes Ms. Kim, the woman who told the ghost story in the last episode, rush in to help change a waste fluid tube.
Young-Min is shocked, but when he follows her outside, a strange ghost that seems to have been inside her jumps out. He tells Young-Min that if he tries to jump into someone else’s body as a coma ghost, he will be stuck there. His spiritual guide’s name? Well, it’s Tess Hyeong, and he says that he will see him soon.
Young-Min’s Ghostly Journey and Struggle to Wake Up from Coma
Seung-Tak has been upset about what happened to Young-Min for a while, and now he’s on his way to the ICU to see him. Seung-Tak makes Young-ghost Min laugh by telling his boss to wake up so he can bow to Seung-Tak at 90 degrees and thank him for saving his life. Oh, and don’t put him on night shifts either.
The thing is, Young-future Min is uncertain right now. No one seems to know when he’ll wake up from his coma. This makes him a ghost, and Hee can only watch from a distance.
He follows Young-Min until he hits his “radius of action,” which stops him from going any farther than his body can go. So, from the ICU to the front door is his limit, and not much further.
While Young-Min sits and thinks about what to do, Chairman Jang comes and has something to say to his ghost self. The thing is, he has his own limit, too, since he’s in a coma and hits his own green limit quickly. Since he is kept in the VIP ward, he doesn’t go as far as Young-Min.
There is definitely more going on than we first thought, especially with the tensions between Se-Rin and Min-Ho, who are siblings. Young-Min watches all of this happen and then listens to the doctors talk about how Doctor Kim Jae-Won may have given Seung-Tak, who was in charge of giving the medicine, the wrong instructions.
As Young-Min gets closer to Seung-Tak, he somehow jumps inside his body. It looks like the two of them know each other, and with Tess’s help, he tries to get Young-Min to leave before things get worse. The problem is that if Young-Min keeps jumping inside Seung-Tak, it could make it take longer for the doctor to wake up again.
Young-Min’s Ghostly Encounter with the Chairman and Seung-Tak’s Uncertain Future
So, Young-ghostly Min’s form shows up to see the Chairman, who is waiting patiently for Young-Min to find a way to heal him. He doesn’t like that Young-Min is leaving, and he says that Min-anger Ho’s will be enough to cause him to sue the hospital.

Only when Min-Ho comes in yelling and screaming, it’s clear that he’s the one who messed up the surgery and kept the chairman in such a dangerous condition. And do you know who he works with? Yes, the Vice Chairman is a scumbag.
He passes Seung-Tak on his way down from the roof after his private meeting and tells him to keep up the good work. When Young-Min hears this, he doesn’t know which side the intern is really on. He doesn’t know if Seung-Tak would have killed him or helped him.
Before Seung-Tak can think about that more, he gets a call about Young-Min. He is called to the ICU, which makes him rush there. Only, Young-Min is able to put his soul back into Seung-Tak while they are traveling.
Ghost Doctor Episode 2 Review
So, more hospital politics start to come out as it becomes clear that the slimy Vice President and the chairman’s son are working together to get rid of the chairman. Or, at the very least, keep him away from the business he owns.
We also find out a lot more about how ghosts work in this show. The boundaries and other coma ghosts do a great job of filling out this world and giving it some consistent rules. Whether or not Young-Min will actually go back to his body soon is still up in the air.
In the meantime, Ghost Doctor has done very well thanks to the way its characters interact with each other and its simple but very gripping plot. This definitely sets up a lot more drama to come in the next episodes, and the cliffhanger ending makes the next episode an absolute must-watch.
