Yellowstone season 5 is here, bringing fans back to Montana to see what the Dutton family will face as they continue to fight for their land in a show that has shown the western genre still has legs.
The neo-westerns by Taylor Sheridan are very different from the John Wayne movies that made the genre famous, but Yellowstone’s cowboys have become one of the most popular shows on TV.

Yellowstone’s popularity has also helped a few other shows, especially 1883, which is a prequel to Yellowstone and is only available to stream on Paramount Plus.
