I’ve been anticipating She and Her Perfect Husband for months. Yang Mi was a favorite actress. She was stunning and acted well. I always anticipate her drama. I adored Novoland: Pearl Eclipse, my last one.

Yang Hua and Qin Shi did not misunderstand. I didn’t need to yell at my screen or review. Several catfights were entertaining.
I rarely comment on modern drama clothing, but I admire Qin Shi’s style. Her clothes were chic and colorful. The dazzling yellow skirt she wore to Hanzhong was too much.
I applauded this show for recreating daily life. Qin Shi and her employer, Tang Yi Hui, reuse their costumes in multiple scenes. In some dramas, the female lead changes clothes every scene. That’s unbelievable. Because we mundanes reused clothes.

Perfect lighting and filming angle. It heightened the actors’ emotions. Yang Hua cried when he had to accept he was a coward who couldn’t face reality. He looked very forlorn on film. The false driving scenes disappointed me.
Traffic and illumination failed. Everything else was well-designed. Qin Shi’s colorful residence and office were great. The red bedroom door was more appealing than the cyan kitchen set. My hubby would never let me decorate with those colors. Admiring Qin Shi’s vibrant world was fine.

Well-written story. It was slick and made you want to keep watching. Several episode endings surprised me. I could pretend it never happened since I was binge-watching numerous episodes. However, watching the episodes individually would be annoying.
Qin Shi sought to reform law firm recruitment in She and Her Perfect Husband. Many law firms rejected Qin Shi because she was unmarried. Because single female lawyers cost more, law companies hired married ones.
When a single female lawyer married, they applied for marriage leave and maternity leave. Despite not working, firms had to pay them. Companies suffered greatly.
The system hurt Qin Shi. She was mentored by Cheng & Hui Law Firm. Law firm partner Bian Jing She introduced Qin Shi and decided her marital status. Qin Shi initially opposed lying.
Bian Jing persuaded her. Bian Jing chose well. Qin Shi’s career flourished due to her marriage. Qin Shi invented a husband for the scenario. She chose Weibo user Yang Hua or James Yang for his wisdom. She declared him her husband with his photo.
Qin Shi also mentioned her 2.5-year-old son abroad. Qin Shi encountered Yang Hua at an office party after two years of concealment.

Her family and work had too many unsuccessful marriages (she worked for the family department and was a badass divorce lawyer). Her unsuccessful marriages traumatized her. Despite the risk, Yang Hua helped her solve her dilemma.
Since Qin Shi was reserved and Yang Hua was romantic but reserved, the romance was slow. I liked their closeness. Sweet, natural kisses and hugs. Well-planned character relationships. I was surprised by Qin Shi and Li Dai. Initially, enemies, they became (nearly) buddies. When they talked, it felt like a war movie with gunfire, missiles, and dead soldiers.
Qin Shi and Li Dai usually spoke politely, yet their words might be murderous. I exaggerated, but that was their interaction. Their scenes were usually entertaining. Especially when both handle Yao Yao’s case.
The Ending of She And Her Perfect Husband
The story ends well for her and Her Perfect Husband. Even though Qin Shi seemed to keep falling into a hole. Because of Wu Fei, she was moved down to being an assistant to a lawyer. Qin Shi, on the other hand, lived up to her reputation as a person who holds grudges. She went to Wu Fei’s office and said things that made him angry. Even though Wu Fei was very angry with her, she stayed calm. Not long after the fight, Wu Fei decided to quit her job and go back to work for her father.
Tao Jun Hui understood that he still cares about Qin Shi. He had no way of forgetting her. When Qin Shi took a business trip to Hanzhong with a sleazy client, Tao Jun Hui got bored and went after her. He was sad because he was worried about her. In front of Gang Zi, he gave her a hug. When things got tough between him and Wu Fei, Tao Jun Hui told Qin Shi the truth and asked her to marry him.
Qin Shi turned down the offer because she already loved Yang Hua. Even so, Tao Jun Hui helped Qin Shi with her work. He even talked to Jin Cheng about getting Qin Shi back to her job after she quit because she didn’t want to do what Tang Yi Hui told her to do. In the last episode, Tao Jun Hui was made head of the Northwest Division of Cheng & Hui. He also starts over with the way he feels about Wu Fei.
Yang Hua still helped Qin Shi with the Yao Yao case after they broke up. But with the help of Gang Zi, he did it in secret. Yao Yao had already told Qin Shi that she, her son, and Yang Hua would be going back to Australia with them when Qin Shi told her about his help. When Qin Shi saw Yang Hua leave with Yao Yao that night, it broke her heart. Qin Shi thought Yang Hua liked his ex-girlfriend more than her. She was glad that Qin Wenbin and Qin Wenyu came to help her feel better.
Qin Shi’s mother came to the apartment the next morning. She told Qin Shi that Yang Hua had come to see her and Father Qin. Yang Hua talked about the divorce and why he got rid of Qin Shi.
