She and Her Perfect Husband was a Chinese romantic drama that came out in 2022. It had a total of 40 episodes. Qin Shi was an independent, smart, quick-witted, and ambitious woman. As a successful lawyer, she worked at Cheng & Hui Law Firm for two years to move up and try to become a partner. She seemed to use any means necessary to get that job, but she did it for a bigger reason: to change the unfair system for single female lawyers.
And the first thing she did was to try to get around the rules. Qin Shi pretended to be married to James Yang, a successful investment manager who worked overseas. She told the lies so well that no one would have believed that she was single and didn’t want to get married. But by chance, she ended up in a place where she met her “husband,” James Yang or Yang Hua.
Yang Hua was a financial genius, but he was awkward around other people. At age 28, he still lived with his parents and his pet tortoise. He didn’t have a job or a girlfriend. Yang Hua’s mother made him hurry up and get married. She made him go on a lot of blind dates so he could find a good wife. Yang Hua met Qin Shi, who he thought was his wife, on the way to another blind date.
Even though they didn’t know each other, they made a deal because they were both interested in the same thing. Qin Shi needed a husband to keep up her “marriage life,” and Yang Hua needed a wife to stop his mother from making him get married. So, they kept up with the fake marriage and started living together as if they were married.
Even though they agreed to the fake marriage so that nothing bad would happen. When nature took over, they couldn’t stop it. Slowly but surely, the cold office worker fell for the calm man. But was being married really what they wanted? Or is it another thing? And would they keep getting along after the agreement is over?

In the end, this drama had a good ending. When WeTV stopped putting out episodes after 24 of them, I was a little worried. I thought I would have to wait longer for new episodes, but all of a sudden, WeTV put out a bunch of them at once. What could be better than WeTV? I really like this way to watch videos. I’ve been waiting for She and Her Perfect Husband to come out for a long time. One of my favorite actresses was Yang Mi. She was beautiful and did a good job in the role. So, I’m always looking forward to her drama. Novoland: Pearl Eclipse was the last one I saw, and I loved it.

The drama She and Her Perfect Husband was sweet and cute. Even though the story was pretty heavy and the drama used a lot of legal and financial terms. I could still understand what was being said. Well, I still have to Google a few of them to figure out what they mean. But I was still fine with everything.
This was the first time I saw the work of art by director Li Yan and writer Zhu Li. Both the director and the writer of the movie were women, and the story was about empowering women. It was clear from Qin Shi’s goal that she wanted to change the way companies hired people, since they were unfair to single women. The last case was about a male boss who made women workers feel uncomfortable by touching them in a sexual way.
The romance, on the other hand, was very light and sweet to balance out the heavy theme. Some of the things that happened over and over again were ex-boyfriends and ex-girlfriends who still cared about each other, third parties who were jealous, fights between in-laws, marriage, and divorce. But none of them were terrible. Yang Hua and Qin Shi didn’t misunderstand each other in a way that was too bad. So, I didn’t feel like I needed to yell at my screen or in my review. There were a lot of fights between the women, but it was still fun.
I rarely say anything about the clothes in modern dramas, but I like Qin Shi’s style. She was stylish, and every piece of clothing she wore was classy with a pop of colour. Well, some of them were too much, like the shiny yellow skirt she wore on the trip to Hanzhong.
I wanted to praise this drama because it tried to show how people live in the real world. Even Qin Shi’s boss, Tang Yi Hui, wears the same clothes in different scenes. Well, in some dramas, the main female character would wear different clothes in each scene. I couldn’t believe it. Because in reality, we ordinary people wore the same clothes over and over.
The Ending of She And Her Perfect Husband
The story ends well for her and Her Perfect Husband. Even though Qin Shi seemed to keep falling into a hole. Because of Wu Fei, she was moved down to being an assistant to a lawyer. Qin Shi, on the other hand, lived up to her reputation as a person who holds grudges. She went to Wu Fei’s office and said things that made him angry. Even though Wu Fei was very angry with her, she stayed calm. Not long after the fight, Wu Fei decided to quit her job and go back to work for her father.
Tao Jun Hui understood that he still cares about Qin Shi. He had no way of forgetting her. When Qin Shi took a business trip to Hanzhong with a sleazy client, Tao Jun Hui got bored and went after her. He was sad because he was worried about her. In front of Gang Zi, he gave her a hug. When things got tough between him and Wu Fei, Tao Jun Hui told Qin Shi the truth and asked her to marry him.
Qin Shi turned down the offer because she already loved Yang Hua. Even so, Tao Jun Hui helped Qin Shi with her work. He even talked to Jin Cheng about getting Qin Shi back to her job after she quit because she didn’t want to do what Tang Yi Hui told her to do. In the last episode, Tao Jun Hui was made head of the Northwest Division of Cheng & Hui. He also starts over with the way he feels about Wu Fei.
Yang Hua still helped Qin Shi with the Yao Yao case after they broke up. But with the help of Gang Zi, he did it in secret. Yao Yao had already told Qin Shi that she, her son, and Yang Hua would be going back to Australia with them when Qin Shi told her about his help. When Qin Shi saw Yang Hua leave with Yao Yao that night, it broke her heart. Qin Shi thought Yang Hua liked his ex-girlfriend more than her. She was glad that Qin Wenbin and Qin Wenyu came to help her feel better.
Qin Shi’s mother came to the apartment the next morning. She told Qin Shi that Yang Hua had come to see her and Father Qin. Yang Hua talked about the divorce and why he got rid of Qin Shi. Yang Hua said that he could see how Qin Shi felt about marriage. Contrary to what other people thought, Qin Shi, cared a lot about getting married.
She had done everything she could to keep her family’s marriages from falling apart. She did so much that she had nothing left for her own wedding. Yang Hua saw that Qin Shi didn’t trust her marriage, so she used their fake marriage to avoid the real problem, which was her fear of marriage.
Yang Hua decided to divorce her so that Qin Shi could look at her life and figure out what she really wanted from her marriage. If Qin Shi ended up choosing Tao Jun Hui instead of him, Yang Hua would accept her choice. He didn’t want her to build a relationship on a lie. Instead, he wanted her to start over.
After listening to what her mother had to say, Qin Shi ran to the airport. She was late, though. She didn’t notice that Yang Hua was walking away from her. He didn’t leave with Yao Yao because everything he did with her was just an act to make Qin Shi realize how she felt. Qin Shi thought that Yang Hua had already gotten on the plane to Australia and flown there.
Seven months later, Qin Shi turned down an offer from Cheng & Hui to be a senior partner. She chose to work by herself, but she still did business with Cheng & Hui.
