Recap of Episode 7 of Overlord Season 4
Yohz talks to Riyuro, the clan leader, about what happened in the old dwarf capital. Not long after that, another Quagoa says that something is coming. Riyuro goes to the dragons to ask them for help against the dwarves. Olasird’arc, the dragon lord, sends Hejinmal, one of his sons, to help.
Ainz, Gondo, Shalltear, and Aura all meet Hejinmal. Hejinmal gives up right away because he is afraid of Ainz. Hejinmal takes Ainz and Gondo to the other dragons, while Shalltear and Aura take care of the Quagoa. Ainz goes up to Olasird’arc, but he won’t give in to him. As a result, Ainz kills him. While the other dragons are getting together, Ainz helps Gondo get the book he wanted.
Aura and Shalltear are taking care of the Quagoa. Shalltear says that it’s probably impossible for someone in their area to be strong enough to beat the Death Knights. Aura says that Ainz said that to help Shalltear get better at thinking strategically.
Shalltear tells Riyuro that the Quagoa must submit to the kingdom or she will kill everyone until only a certain number of men, women, and children are left. Riyuro tells the Quagoa to fight, but it hurts him because he has to pick who will fight until only the right number of Quagoa are left.
Hejinmal gets the rest of the dragons together, and they all agree to obey Ainz. One of them, though, says no, so Ainz kills him. Ainz, the others, and Aura and Shalltear meet up. Ainz tells them he’s proud of them. Later, the runesmiths have a party to mark their new start.
Then, Ainz meets Demiurge and asks him what’s going on with the Theocracy. Demiurge praises Ainz and his plans and thinks that Ainz has been planning everything for the next thousand years.
Overlord Season 4 Episode 8 Overview
Overlord Season 4 is the fourth season of the first and best MMO-based isekai show, Overlord. Studio Madhouse is making the show again. They have made all of the other seasons of the show, as well as other popular shows like Death Note, One Punch Man, and Sonny Boy. This fourth season is also called Overlord IV and Overlord 4.
Naoyuki Itou is back in charge of the show. He is also known for making all of the original seasons of Chihayafuru and Kanon, among other popular shows. Overlord is based on a Light Novel by Kugane Maruyama that was written by “so-bin” and had pictures by “so-bin.” This episode is also called Overlord 4 Episode 8 and Overlord IV Episode 8.
Review of Season 4 Episode 8 of Overlord
Another boring book in the series. At this point, I don’t know what to think about it, except that it seems to have run out of steam and is just coasting along on the little bit of momentum it still has from the good worldbuilding in the previous seasons.
But the deeper it digs into that well, the faster it seems to run out of water. Overlord hasn’t had a sense of direction for a while now. Since the mistakes are happening more often, they are just easier to spot.
This was a very disappointing episode, especially since some people thought it would make up for how bad the last one was. This one wasn’t very good because all it had was a lot of talks and not enough action.
Conversations are only interesting when they involve people you care about and are about things that interest you. Politics are not at all interesting on the show right now, but your opinion may be different depending on how much you like the characters.
