OTTAWA, ON, Nov. 26, 2024 /CNW/ – Her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, will deliver opening remarks at the first National Indigenous Defence Conference.

The Governor General will speak on reconciliation in the context of national defence to open the conference, which will be attended by Indigenous leaders, defence professionals and government representatives.
