Go World Travel Magazine Wins Bronze for Best Editorial Travel Website in the 2026 SATW Foundation Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism Competition
ARVADA, Colo., Oct. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Go World Travel Magazine (GoWorldTravel.com) has won the Bronze award for Best Editorial Travel Website in the 2026 Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism Competition, sponsored by the Society of American Travel Writers Foundation (SATW Foundation). The awards were announced on October 6 at the SATW annual convention in Haywood County, North Carolina.
Go World Travel shares the honor with two other leading travel publications: BBC Travel won Gold and Azure Road won Silver. Go World Travel was recognized under the leadership of Managing Editor Janna Graber.

About the Lowell Thomas Travel Journalism Competition
Named for pioneering broadcaster, author and world traveler Lowell Thomas, the Lowell Thomas Competition is widely regarded as the premier travel journalism competition in North America. The SATW Foundation has sponsored it since 1984 and today awards more than $25,000 in prize money each year for print, digital, multimedia and broadcast work. The competition does not promote any destination or travel product, has no membership requirement for entrants, and is judged independently by journalism faculty.
This year, 26 judges at the University of Missouri School of Journalism reviewed 1,568 entries and gave 120 awards.
