Business Proposal Review and Ending Explained: Does Love Survive Against All Odds?
Someone who typically avoids romantic comedies wrote this review. Normally, I enjoy reading horror, crime, and medical mysteries, but after finishing Juvenile Justice, I needed a refresher. However, I hadn’t given the Business Proposal any thought until I heard others discussing the kiss scene. Do you recall the kissing scene? Naturally, I had to investigate it. Be ready for spoilers if you haven’t seen it yet.
Look elsewhere if you want a drama that closely resembles reality. On the other hand, a Business Proposal is perfect for you if you’re looking for something humorous, crazy, and largely lighthearted.
Shin Hari (Kim Sejung) is making an effort to organize her life. She appreciates her position as a researcher at GO Foods. She assists at the chicken business owned by her family after work. Hari relishes time spent with her best friend Jin Youngseo (Seol Inah) and dreams of telling her crush that she likes him. Unfortunately, she gets into a fight with someone and finds up owing a lot of money right when she feels like she is moving in the right direction.
Youngseo informs Hari that she will give her the cash, but first, she has to substitute for her on a blind date. To counter the blind date, they intended to demolish Youngseo’s reputation—something they have done in the past. When Hari learns that the blind date is with Kang Taemoo, the CEO of GO Food, all bets are off (Ahn Hyoseop). Taemoo chooses to wed Hari instead of fleeing, although he actually believes he is wed to Youngseo. Youngseo tries valiantly to fix the error, but every time she or Hari tries to convince Taemoo to leave her alone, he becomes more adamant about getting married.
After much absurdity and laughter, Taemoo realizes he’s been duped and decides to ruin Hari’s life. He begins to fall in love with Hari, which is unexpected—or not if you’ve seen enough of these K-Dramas.
After concealing, Taemoo’s grandpa, Chairman Kang Dagoo (Lee Deokhwa), learns about their relationship and demands that they end it right now. He informs Taemoo that there is no possibility for him to wed Hari, but Taemoo vehemently rejects this. For the remainder of the show, Hari makes every effort to win over Chairman Kang.
Youngseo and Cha Sunghoon, the drama’s second leads, were one of the drama’s more appealing aspects (Kim Minkyu). Youngseo was the cause of the entire incident, yet throughout the series, she remained a great friend to Hari. Youngseo was a breath of fresh air every time she appeared on television thanks to her ability to speak her mind and resist her father’s attempts to propose marriage to her like a commercial deal. She had intense and wonderful connections with Sunghoon. But once more, did you see that kiss?
The drama’s frequent appearance of humorous relief was another appealing aspect. For instance, Jo Yoojung’s (Seo Hyewon) outrageous attitude, Youngseo’s dread of bugs in her flat, and the TV Programme Taemoo’s grandfather was fixated on. Be Strong, Geumhui reflected the chairman’s existence, but he was blind to it. He offers great counsel to the fictional characters, but when similar circumstances arise in real life, he behaves horribly.
